Time Travel - Back To The Future

In the movie "Back To The Future" Michael J. Fox goes back into the past, to the year 1956. In getting there, he uses a special type of car that looks like a DeLorean model with overhead seagull type doors. The idea was to travel at very high speed so that on reaching a certain velocity the car would swing into a different dimension or another timeloop and stay there. He meets Dr. Emett Brown a friend from his time but who is very much younger in 1956.
